Situated on Ireland’s unique west coast, Setanta Films was founded in 2024 by Feilimí O’Connor. Supported by Screen Ireland, Coimisiún na Meán, and TG4, the company has secured funding for a number of exciting projects.
Our experienced team has produced hundreds of hours of content for RTÉ, TG4, and the BBC — including documentaries, music performances, and travel series — earning recognition from the Celtic Media Awards, IFTA, Oireachtas Media Awards, and the Royal Television Society Awards.

Feilimí O’Connor is an experienced filmmaker and the founder of Setanta Films, with a strong track record in visual storytelling across Irish and UK broadcasting. He has directed and produced a wide range of acclaimed content for major networks including RTÉ, BBC, and TG4, with a focus on arts, culture, and factual programming. His work has earned recognition from the Celtic Media Awards, IFTA, Oireachtas Media Awards, and the Royal Television Society. In addition to his role at Setanta Films, Feilimí is a director at Táin Media, a UK-based production company known for its critically acclaimed work. He was previously a senior producer at Stirling Film & TV. With filming experience in over 30 countries, he brings a global perspective and a deep cultural awareness to all his productions.
Aisling Ní Fhlaithearta
Aisling Ní Fhlaithearta is an experienced producer and production manager with a proven track record across Irish and UK television. She has worked extensively across genres including documentary, live sports, music, and factual entertainment, delivering high-quality content for broadcasters such as RTÉ, TG4, and BBC. Renowned for her exceptional organisational and logistical expertise, Aisling has overseen complex productions across a wide range of environments. Her approach reflects a deep commitment to creative collaboration, precision, and consistent delivery under pressure.
